Every call is important to us, but with 2,500 members it is very hard for us to deal with every question and phone call. To give you the assistance you deserve we have what we like to call the "First Line of Defense". The steward at your station was elected by you (the member) to assist with your questions. The process should always begin with the steward.

If you have a question on health benefits we have an elected officer, Tom Woller, The Health Benefits Director (612.823.7488) to answer your questions. For more information, (go to The NALC Health Benefits page).

If you are retired and need a question answered we have another elected officer, Don Anderson, The Director of Retirees (612.781.9858) to answer those questions.

If it is an emergency, and you are unable to get a hold of these people, then call the Branch office. Please do not be insulted when our secretary asks for information about your call. She asks, so that we, your officers, can access your data, and answer your questions promptly and efficiently.

Over the past several weeks bargaining activity has accelerated as the Executive Council works to achieve a negotiated settlement.
