PTF/Junior Employee
Meeting
Branch 9 will be having a PTF/Junior Employee Meeting on February 27th at 6:30 PM at the Ballentine VFW. See enclosed flyer for more details.
Bid Limits Reset
The Parties at the National Level have reached an agreement to reset the number of bids for all carriers to zero. This means that, regardless of the amount of bids a letter carrier may have made during the 2001 – 2006 National Agreement, all full-time carriers are eligible to bid on vacant routes. It has not yet been determined how many bids a carrier will be allowed under the subsequent contact. That decision will be made when we get either a negotiated contract or an arbitrated contract.
